Bermuda: A Day by Day Review, Day 1

It's 5 o'clock am and we are wide awake. We finished packing the night before, and we aren't leaving until 9:00, four hours to kill. Finally, it's time to load up the car and head to Baltimore, MD to board the Carnival Pride. We decided to leave early and beat the traffic there, everyone else must of stolen our idea, we had to wait, and wait and wait some more. Finally!! We were onboard!

Once on board, we headed to the buffet for some lunch, while we waited for our cabin to be ready. A cruise buffet, is a buffet of all buffets EVER.  While we had some lunch we listened to a live band onboard the ship.  After getting our stomach's full and chit chatting we headed to our cabin to unpack.

Unpacking was finished and we headed up on deck for the send off . The views and waters of Baltimore surely don't compare to those of Bermuda!

Next it was time to get ready for dinner. We opted to eat dinner every night in the dinning room instead of the buffet. The dining room is the place for all the spectacular food. Dinners ranged from prime rib, to lobster tail to steak or chicken. The desserts were out of this world good.  The view is pretty awesome too!

Pictures were taken while we were at dinner, and before and after dinner. As well as at port. Pictures are taken ALOT! I've decided that must be one of the reason people smile so much while on a cruise. I think our faces freeze that way after having so many pictures taken!

After dinner it was off to play in the casino a bit and then take in a live show.  After the show, it was time to head back to the cabin for some much needed sleep (reember, we had been up since 5 am). Once in the cabin we found this little guy, along with the bed turned down, mints and information about what was on tap for the next day.

Day one was over and we were on our way to Bermuda!
